Manufacturing and Quality Engineering CO-OP

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Manufacturing and Quality Engineer CO-OP in Cedar Rapids, IA, facility for Summer through the Fall Semester of 2026! This intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.

This will be a full-time CO-OP.

No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What will you do?


* Dive into root cause analysis and problem solving in an industrial environment.


* Explore a variety of projects focused efficiency, quality, performance of production equipment, and document control.


* Learn about 5S principles and engineering documentation in the factory setting.


* Reduce waste and scrap using Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma principles.

This job may be for you if:


* You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or higher, Manufacturing or Industrial track preferred, at a Sophomore or classification or higher.


* You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production workers.


* You bring strong, consistent energy and can maintain a fast, productive pace in a high-speed production environment.


* You demonstrate strong learning agility by continuously seeking new knowledge, fostering curiosity, and adapting to change.


* You possess strong organization and planning skills, effectively managing your time and prioritizing multiple competing tasks.
