Applications Delivery Manager

*THIS POSITION REQUIRES RESIDING IN THE MISSOULA, MT AREA.
The Applications Delivery Manager helps keep application-related work organized and moving forward.
This role works closely with business teams, developers, analysts, and vendors to coordinate tasks, track progress, and make sure work gets completed on time.
This role focuses on existing, in-production systems and ongoing operational improvements rather than large new system implementations.
The role functions as a lightweight project and delivery management position and complements - but does not replace - the enterprise PMO.Skills and Competencies Required:
* Strong organizational skills and attention to details
* Strong time-management skills and managing multiple tasks
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Meeting facilitation and coordination skills
* Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers
* Problem-solving and prioritization skills
* Working knowledge of common productivity and tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Teams, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or similar)
Nice to Have:
* Prior project coordination, delivery management, or service delivery experience
* Experience in application support or business systems teams
* Experience with enterprise software (ERP, Time Capture, Development, Data Analytics)
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered
* 3+ years of experience in IT, business systems, application support, or technical project coordination
Key Responsibilities
Application Delivery & Coordination
* Coordinate delivery of application enhancements and changes
* Manage multiple concurrent small-to-medium initiatives
* Schedule and facilitate planning sessions, checkpoints, and testing cycles
* Keep a clear view of what work is in progress and what is coming next
* Help set realistic timelines and delivery expectations
* Track milestones, key steps, and follow-up actions
* Help make sure approved work continues moving forward
Planning & Work Management
Stakeholder Communication
* Serve as the coordination point between business partners and technical teams
* Share regular updates on progress and status
* Raise concerns when there are delays, issues or resource challenges
* Help keep communication flowing between all involved teams
Risk & Issue Management
* Identify risks, dependencies, and competing priorities early
* Support the team in resolving scheduling or priority conflicts
* Improve predictability and reduce stalled initiatives
* Support change management and release coordination processes
Vendor & Support Coordination
* Coordinate activities with third-party vendors and support partners
