As the Manager, Order to Cash you will play a key role in facilitating the order to cash process through research and analysis of invoicing requirements.
You'll provide support to the Senior Manager Order to Cash by assisting with complex reconciliations, regular reporting, invoicing/contract interpretation, and acting as a liaison between account management and the customer.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* End-to-end management of financial onboarding for new customers by interpreting contract terms, work orders, pricing exhibits, and operational requirements to establish accurate invoice structures.
* Create value for GXO by establishing sound invoicing practices and contract interpretation that reduce credit memos and customer disputes.
* Manage new customer invoicing until stabilized, ensuring revenue recognition accuracy, contractual alignment, and SOP drafting.
* Partner with Operations, Pricing, Account Management, Operational Finance, IT, and Legal to clarify billing details and secure invoice approvals.
* Act as subject matter expert and conceptualize invoicing strategy, adherent to customer contracts.
* Demonstrate sound judgement in contract interpretation and drive resolution of contract ambiguity with stakeholders and business partners.
* Act as liaison between Collections, Pricing, Account Management, Operations, IT, and the AR/Cash App teams to resolve issues and drive financial accuracy.
* Play a role in managing customer relationships by supporting customer inquiries related to billing, documentation, disputes, and payment application.
* Support month-end close activities to include reconciliation, revenue validation, variance research, and accrual coordination.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related discipline or related work or military experience
* 5-10 years of Cash Management, Accounting, Finance, experience
* Excellent research-based, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to produce written and verbal communication to senior audiences
* Comprehensive and analytical problem-solving skills
