Sourcing Intern
Responsibilities
The Sourcing Intern will support the Global/Regional Sourcing function by assisting with supplier data management, spend analysis, sourcing initiatives, and process improvement activities.
This internship provides hands-on exposure to strategic sourcing and procurement operations within a global organization, offering the opportunity to build analytical, communication, and business skills while contributing to real-world sourcing projects.
Responsibilities
* Support the Sourcing team with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to supplier spend, cost savings, and sourcing initiatives
* Assist in maintaining supplier records, contracts, and sourcing documentation
* Participate in supplier research, benchmarking, and market analysis
* Support sourcing projects, RFQs/RFPs, and cost comparison activities as directed
* Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Operations, Finance, Quality) to gather information and support sourcing objectives
* Assist with process improvement initiatives and documentation of standard work
* Prepare presentations and summary materials for internal stakeholders
* Support planning and coordination for the annual Supplier Summit, including assisting with logistics, supplier communications, agenda materials, etc.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
* Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Interest in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or operations
* Prior internship or coursework related to supply chain or business analytics preferred

Physical Demands
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time
* Ability to operate a computer and other standard office equipment
* Occasional lifting of materials up to 10 pounds
* Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment
