Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

WAGE: $26.06 - DOE
DEPARTMENT: Golden Spike Event Center
PERSONNEL STATUS: Part Time
BENEFITS: Retirement, 401k match, Sick/Vacation

JOB OVERVIEW:

Under the general supervision of the General Manager and Manager of Events, maintain and update social media - keeping all pages and outlets up to date with current and correct information.

Working closely with event managers to keep Golden Spike and Weber County Fair websites and social media pages live and accurate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitor social media channels.

Host contests and ticket giveaways.

Develop digital content.

Help in maintaining Wix/Word Press websites, Trumba calendar, and other digital platforms.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education: Some college preferred

Experience: ne (1) to two (2) years of Social Media Management experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):

Knowledge of: Basic knowledge of all social media platforms.

Understanding of Wix and Word Press websites.

Some photography and videography.

Skills and Abilities to: Ability to communicate with the general public in a pleasant and professional manner.

Ability to follow direction and work well with others.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

YOUR SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be adaptable to changing work hours as shift hours may be varied.

Working days may include weekends and holidays.

Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment background check prior to starting the position.
