About You

We're looking for someone who has:


* B.S.

or M.S.

in Electrical Engineering


* Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience serving manufacturing and industrial clients.


* P.E.

license with education experience necessary to obtain licensure in other states by reciprocity.


* Experience in electrical design for facility and infrastructure projects.

Experience shall include design of power, lighting, grounding and lightning protection, security and access control systems, telecommunication and data systems, control systems for building equipment, and fire alarm systems.


* In-depth knowledge of design and application of power distribution equipment, protection, and control systems required for large industrial projects.


* Comprehensive understanding of national electrical code, energy codes and standards applicable to large industrial power equipment and systems.


* Strong team player with experience in leading multi-discipline projects and effectively coordinating with other team members throughout design.


* Exceptional communicator with strong presentation, verbal, and writing skills; role includes direct client engagement.


* Proficient in executing design utilizing REVIT to create 3D models and the use of models during construction.


* Proficient in the use of Bluebeam for drawing review, drawing mark-up, and sketch development for design development.


* Experience with lighting calculation software such as AGI-32, ElumTools and/or Visual.


* Experience with power system analysis software to perform short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, motor starting analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.


* Strong focus on continuous improvement of self and design approach with focus on skills development and development of new tools and practices to automate design.

Desirable Skills that are a "Plus":


* Experience using ETAP is preferred.


* Strong knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel to develop advanced spreadsheets for design calculations and other tools for project monitoring and control is preferred
