Sr Lead Software Engineer - Managed Services Delivering Graph Database Infrastructure & Technologies

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Core & Foundational Platforms (CFP), specifically as a part of our Graph Managed Services Team, you will play a crucial role in an agile environment.

Your responsibilities will include improving, developing, and providing reliable, high-quality technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Job responsibilities


* Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.


* Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.


* Designs and implements scalable cloud native software solutions using modern technology stacks to deliver highly available, performant, and resilient products.


* Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.


* Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.


* Mentors junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and support through code reviews and educational workshops.


* Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.


* Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.


* Maintains the managed service environments; dev, test and prod.


* Adds to the teams culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on engineering infrastructure and software solutions concepts and proficient advanced 10 years experience.


* Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.


* Extensive experience in software development and delivery.


* Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g.

Cloud, Infrastructure As Code).


* Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.


* Experience with configuration management tools (e.g Ansible, SaltStack).


* Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.


* Understanding the importance of great documentation and a passion for helping customs.


* Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
