Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float
Registered Nurse — Night Shift
This full‑time night‑shift RN role (7pm–7am) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
The nurse uses the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver safe, evidence‑based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
The position emphasizes strong critical thinking, collaboration, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
• Perform comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized, evidence‑based care
• Apply analytical and critical‑thinking skills to develop and adjust care plans
• Provide culturally sensitive, relationship‑based care
• Partner with patients and families through communication, education, and shared decision‑making
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow current clinical standards
Teamwork & Collaboration
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in rounds, case reviews, and shared decision‑making
• Support a respectful, inclusive clinical environment
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient‑safety initiatives
Professional Development
• Complete required education and competency assessments
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to support the development of other nurses and students
• Engage in ongoing learning, research utilization, and evidence‑based practice
Quality, Safety & Resource Management
• Uphold organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical nursing practice
• Support initiatives that improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events
• Use resources efficiently and assist in developing protocols and procedures
Qualifications
Education
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Licensure & Certifications
* Reg Nurse (Single State)
* RN - Multi-state Compact
* Basic Life Support
* BLS - Instructor
* BLS - Provisional
Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice, and regulatory standards
• Skilled in assessment, examination, and treatment techniques
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
• Ability to remain calm and competent in emergencies

• Ability to manage large volumes of patient information accurately
• Basic understanding of cardiac anatomy, conditions, and treatments
