Pay: $19.00 - $21.00/hour (DOE)
Status: Full-Time | Skilled Nursing Facility

Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our caring team! We are looking for a compassionate and motivated CNA with an active RNA certification to support our residents in maintaining and improving mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:


* Assist residents with restorative exercises and mobility programs.


* Support transfers, ambulation, range of motion, and positioning.


* Provide assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and bathing.


* Support therapy departments with active/passive ROM as needed.


* Help residents prepare for activities, appointments, and daily meals.


* Assist with toileting, including catheter care and hygiene routines.


* Maintain clean, comfortable clothing and bedding for residents.


* Observe, report, and document changes in condition to nursing or therapy teams.


* Foster a warm, calm, and positive atmosphere in the facility.

Qualifications:


* Required: Valid CNA license in California and RNA Certificate


* Required: Current CPR certification


* Preferred: 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Knowledge of PCC charting software a plus


* Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills

Physical Requirements:


* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, pushing/pulling, stooping, and kneeling


* Must be able to frequently stand and assist residents with mobility
