Job Summary

Highland Palms is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team.

The CNA will provide high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about caregiving and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility


* Monitor and document resident conditions, vital signs, and changes in behavior


* Provide emotional support and promote resident dignity and independence


* Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests


* Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks as assigned


* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment


* Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members

Qualifications


* Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing


* Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred


* Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends or holidays as needed


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care


* Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including lifting and assisting residents

Pay Range (EEOC Disclosure)

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
