Activity Assistant

Location: San Francisco Post Acute
Schedule: Part-Time | 8:30am - 5:00pm (2-3 weekdays including Saturdays)
Rate: $19.18/hour

General Purpose
Assist the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of every resident.

Essential Duties


* Lead individual and group activities, outings, and hobbies to keep residents engaged.


* Assist in creating the monthly activity calendar and maintaining accurate attendance records.


* Support resident care by participating in assessments, care planning, and providing materials for self-initiated activities.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent (one year of long-term care experience preferred).


* Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.


* Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 50 lbs.
