Position Function

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for the account management of residential and commercial customers.

Provides customer service, document control and support to the sales team.Experience


* 3+ years of progressive experience in sales, estimating, coordination or related function


* Experience in industry with a service and installation or distribution company, preferably in a construction environment

* Must be bright and intelligent; deal with concepts and complexity comfortably; described as intellectually sharp, capable, and agile

Technical & Practical Skills


* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as margin, mark up, discounts, percentages, area, volume, etc.


* Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills


* Strong organization and decision-making ability


* Good negotiation skills and persuasive ability


* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks


* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers


* Ability to present information to senior management and customers


* Working knowledge of MS Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook


* Willingness to learn products, systems and processes

Education Requirements


* Post-secondary education in commerce, business, construction, or related field is preferred


* A record of continuing education in related topics is desirable

Experience


* 3+ years of progressive experience in sales, estimating, coordination or related function
