Speech-Language Pathologist / Senior Speech-Language Pathologist - Inpatient Pediatrics

Work Schedule :

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift.

Sunday - Thursday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to:


* Provide consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex pediatric patients (infant to adolescent) in the acute care, inpatient rehab, and NICU settings in the domains of swallow, speech, language and cognition.


* Strong interest in the pediatric rehabilitation population and an interest in taking a leading role in rehab program development and expansion is preferred.


* Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based patient and family treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.


* Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.


* Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one's own practice and educate others.

Qualifications



* Master's Degree in speech-language pathology from an ASHA accredited graduate program Required

Work Experience



* Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship Required


* 7 years or more of clinical experience post Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship Required


* Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty Required


* Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g.

speech, language, cognition, voice, airway, resonance, or ...
