Maintenance Associate: Night shift

Pay:23.00 to 33.00 (plus $2.50 shift premium)

Hours: 7pm to 7am

2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on 2 nights off 2 nights on 3 nights off

What is the job: As a Maintenance Associate with Avient, you are responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible, while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet Plant goals.

To be successful in this role you should be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines.

* Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas, including the shop, office, lubrication area, and inventory spaces.


* Follow all environmental rules and report any hazards to your supervisor or onsite EH&S.


* Support the company and facility vision, mission, and guiding principles.


* Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including labor hours, parts usage, root cause analysis, repair details, and preventive maintenance records.


* Perform all assigned preventive maintenance tasks thoroughly and on schedule to reduce equipment downtime.


* Build detailed equipment history by documenting all maintenance activities not already captured through existing work orders.


* Assist with maintaining an accurate maintenance inventory, including completing cycle counts.


* Research needed equipment, tools, and parts; notify the maintenance supervisor or lead when items are unavailable.
