The Opportunity:



* Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)


* Location: White Blossom Care Center — San Jose/Bay Area


* Compensation: $45 - $ 50.00+ per hour (DOE)


* Availability: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN

Your Impact & Responsibilities:



* Direct Patient Treatment: Implement personalized treatment plans as prescribed by the physician and directed by the Occupational Therapist (OT).


* Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in accordance with OT Board and state practice acts.


* Restorative Training: Partner with the nursing department to train Restorative Aides, ensuring a 24/7 culture of mobility and independence.


* Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and discharge planning.


* Education: Empower families and nursing staff through maintenance program instruction and caregiver training in preparation for a safe discharge.
