What are we looking for?

The Professional Engineer is responsible for inspections, project document and report review.

This position will travel at least 5% of the time.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $150,000-$160,000 annually.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:


* Review, inspection to verify preparation and procedures as per contract documents


* Inspection of construction, for structural stability, building envelope, etc.,


* Perform inspections for mechanical systems, sprinklers, etc.,


* Sign off on applicable Technical Report forms


* Ensure that quality requirements are met on work sites as required and in conformance with the job specifications including, but not limited to:


* Foundations


* Structural components


* Mechanical and energy code

Required Qualifications:


* Bachelors' degree in engineering (Civil or Structural)


* Professional Engineering License in New York State


* 5+ years directly related experience in the building inspection field

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in structural stability and geotechnical is desired.
