Youth Apprentice

Work Schedule:
This is a part time, per-diem position.

Shifts vary between 7:00 am - 9:00 pm.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Youth Apprentice to:


* Receive on-the-job training in a variety of different departments within the hospital system, to identify the area you are most interested in.


* Provide a high level of customer service and compassion to patients and families.


* Opportunities are available in several departments.

Qualifications


* Enrolled in a school-approved youth apprentice (YA) program Required


* 16+ years old at the beginning of student's school year Required


* Completion of at least two (2) health science courses or other related coursework Preferred

Work Experience


* 6 months customer service experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


* Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy Certification or Pharm Tech Certification Preferred
