Orthopedic Physical Therapy Resident
Work Schedule :
100% FTE, 40 hours per week.
8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
Hours may vary based on clinical rotation.

We are seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Resident to:
* Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in orthopedic physical therapy.
* Challenge your own and fellow residents' clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations.
* Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following acute and chronic episodes of pain and dysfunction as well as surgeries.
* Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services.
* Serve as instructional assistant for the University of Wisconsin - Madison - Doctor of Physical Therapy orthopedic courses.

Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Physical Therapy is required.

Licenses & Certifications
* Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin is required.

* Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator is required.
