Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team.

General Purpose

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing operations during their assigned shift.

This role ensures that all care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of quality care.
Essential Duties

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff including LVNs, CNAs, and Treatment Nurses
• Provide direct resident care and perform skilled nursing assessments
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy
• Respond to changes in resident condition and medical emergencies
• Make rounds and communicate updates to interdisciplinary team
• Ensure physician orders are accurate, current, and followed
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and healthcare providers
• Oversee admissions, care planning, and documentation compliance
• Monitor infection control practices and participate in quality assurance programs
• Complete audits of medication carts, documentation, and nursing practices
• Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management
• Identify staffing needs and support scheduling as needed
• Participate in surveys and ensure regulatory compliance
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist in the supervision and management of nursing staff to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• New graduates welcome with prior LVN experience
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Supervisory experience is a plus

Licenses & Certifications:
• Current RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification

Skills & Abilities:
• Strong clinical and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of EHR systems (PCC preferred)
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations
Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Strong visual, auditory, and communication abilities required
Work Environment

This position operates in a clinical healthcare setting with a moderate noise level.
