Our division, DHL Global Forwarding in its daily business takes care of a variety of customers' logistics needs, Import and Export (Air, Ocean and Land) including Customs as well, from standardized logistics operations and multi-modal transport solutions to highly individualized industrial projects.

We are currently looking for our Industrial Projects - Business Development LATAM responsible for the function at the Country level sales, as well as coordinating activities across the LATAM region

What will be your main goal in this position?

Lead the commercial strategy for Latin America in the Industrial Projects segment, generating new business opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships, and ensuring sustainable growth in the region through comprehensive logistics solutions.

What will you do in this position?


* Design and execute the regional commercial strategy for Industrial Projects in LATAM.


* Develop new business opportunities with companies in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Renewables , Construction, and Infrastructure.


* Manage the full commercial cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and closing.


* Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic customers and key business partners across the region.


* Lead and supervise the regional commercial team, ensuring the achievement of established KPIs and performance metrics.


* Coordinate with operational areas to develop technical and commercial proposals, including bids and highly complex projects.


* Drive the development of end-to-end multimodal solutions.


* Represent the region in internal and external forums within the industrial sector.


* Analyze market trends, competition, and business opportunities.


* Ensure compliance with regulations and company Compliance policies.


* Align commercial execution with the company’s established internal operational procedures.


* Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines in project solutions when applicable.

What can you bring to the position?


* Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.


* Minimum of 7 years of commercial experience in freight forwarding or industrial projects.


* Experience working with strategic customers and the LATAM market.


* Strong knowledge of multimodal logistics solutions for industrial projects and oversized cargo.
