Industrial Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:  


* Ensure safety and environmental considerations are given top priority in work procedures. 


* Advanced abilities to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems. 


* Understand and exhibit working knowledge of Lock-Out / Tag-Out principles. 


* Understand and exhibit working knowledge of Arc Flash awareness and PPE requirements. 


* Isolate, test and troubleshoot 3-Phase 460-volt electrical distribution systems (fuses, switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, etc). 


* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic. 


* Ability to navigate and troubleshoot Ethernet networks, IP addressing and establish communications with PLC processors. 


* Ability to upload/download programs to PLC’s. 


* Demonstrated ability and experience with installing/troubleshooting VFD’s. 


* Expertise using all common hand tools and mechanical/electrical measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters and Megger. 


* Interpret drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files, online sources, equipment vendors and manufacturers.  Make additional sketches, diagrams, etc.

* Work to continually improve the PM (Preventive Maintenance) program. 


* Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and solutions. 


* Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for specialized equipment such as Davis-Standard Extrusion, StampTech Blow Mold and Guardian G900 Bandsaw machines. 

 Qualifications: 


* High school diploma or equivalent required. 


* Associates degree in Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electricity and Electronics or equivalent Military MOS / Apprenticeship program is preferred. 


* Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance capacity required. 


* The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with manufacturing industrial equipment.  


* Possess Multi-Craft skills (Welding, Fabrication, Instrumentation, Electricity, HVAC etc.) and be able to demonstrate such. 


* Basic welding skills: Mig/Stick, Oxygen/Acetylene cutting and plasma arc. 


* Experience with operating Industrial equipment such as Forklifts, Scissor Lifts and electric pallet jacks. 

 Physical Requirements: This position may require frequent bending, working from heights, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Schedule Requirements:


* Must be able to work the required scheduled hours from 6:00AM-4:30PM M-T.


* Must be available for overtime as production needs require with occasional Saturday's.

Pay Details: Starting pay for this position is $30 per hour.
