* B.S.

in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Ceramic Engineering or related discipline from an ABET accredited institution


* 2 or more years of relevant experience in processing, testing or deployment of ceramics in a manufacturing environment


* Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, production facilities, R&D teams, and leadership on projects and technical efforts


* Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills to drive root cause and resolution of product and process challenges


* Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

* This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

Preferred Qualifications:


* 5 years of experience in industry in a ceramic related discipline


* Experience in industrial milling, blending, and firing processes


* Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques used in the characterization of the structure and properties of nonmetallic materials including: microscopy, density, particle size, MOR and dilatometry.


* Familiarity with investment casting and related processes is desirable but not required
