Provides collaborative or consultative work of varying complexity in areas of technology related strategic direction and support, problem resolution, and translating and executing business requirements for assigned IT business areas..

Directs methodologies and measures to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are effective and meet IT standards..

Coordinates, plans and executes solutions to meet needs of clients, work teams and/or internal or external organization management groups..

May collaborate and/or coordinate with cross functional teams..

Associate level position requires general knowledge of field and industry practices..

1) Provides consulting services to clients in order to evaluate, recommend, assist in the design and assist in the implementation of technical solutions and process improvements in areas related to information technology.

2) Identifies client requirements by establishing personal rapport with all clients and internal/external resources to understand business and technology requirements.

3) Develops knowledge of supported client areas and builds relationships by assessing, evaluating and fully understanding the needs and requirements of clients.

4) Collects and compiles data used to advise clients on best practices and how to implement the necessary changes to address their business and technology needs.

5) Assists in providing strategic support to clients and leaders.

6) Contributes to and participates in process improvement and long term technical solution discussions and may present outcomes in written and verbal format to senior management.

7) May participate in project development surrounding new processes and the integrating of new processes with existing ones.

Assists in developing the communication of these changes to impacted clients and other resources.

8) Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge: General knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area.

General knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies.

Communications: Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail are required.

Acts as a team player, is cooperative and encourages collaboration.

Risk Management: [The individual] is responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making, and contributing to his or her function’s risk management.

Decision Making: Works under direction with infrequent checks; follows established methods and clear-cut policy.

Makes decisions when general instructions or established methods indicate action to be taken.

Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling less than 20 lbs.
