Host/Hostess - PF Chang's- Seattle Tacoma International Airport- Full Time

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to support the operation in delivering Superior Guest Service by promptly recognizing, greeting, and seating guests, while performing additional front‑of‑house duties as assigned.

The Host/Hostess ensures a warm welcome, efficient guest flow, and a positive first and last impression for all guests.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities



* Promptly recognizes, greets, and seats guests with a warm smile while following established service standards.



* Presents menus consistently and courteously, ensuring guests receive the highest quality of service.



* Sets tables with appropriate silverware and maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming workstation.



* Answers incoming phone calls, makes reservations when applicable, and directs inquiries to the appropriate personnel.



* Communicates effectively with restaurant staff to ensure guest needs and requests are met in a timely manner.



* Assists with beverage refills and removes used service items and condiments in accordance with restaurant procedures.



* Follows safe food handling practices and maintains proper personal hygiene at all times.



* Adheres to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment, and reports any equipment malfunction to management immediately.



* Performs opening and/or closing side work according to established checklists and operational standards.



* Performs other duties as assigned to support effective front‑of‑house operations and guest service.

Education/Previous Experience



* High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required;



* OR one to three months of related experience and/or training;



* OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills



* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and effectively communicate information individually and in small group settings to customers and coworkers.



* Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English clearly and effectively.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
