Marketing Specialist
Position Summary
Alta Equipment is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support day‑to‑day execution of marketing initiatives across multiple channels and business units.
This role is well‑suited for a candidate early in their marketing career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a collaborative, in‑house marketing team.
The Marketing Specialist will assist with campaign execution, content coordination, sales support, and marketing operations.
Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities while developing core marketing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media Support
* Create and publish social media content updates, announcements, and campaign communications in support of marketing strategy and company goals.
* Monitor engagement and maintain organized documentation of marketing activity.
Marketing Execution & Support
* Assist with the creation and coordination of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, digital assets, presentations, and internal communications.
* Support marketing campaigns across email, digital, social, and print channels.
* Ensure all marketing outputs meet Alta brand standards for quality, consistency, and messaging.
Sales & Branch Enablement
* Serve as a day ‑ to ‑ day marketing partner to sales and branch teams by delivering marketing materials and campaign support that enable customer outreach and revenue ‑ driving activity.
* Manage incoming marketing requests, clarify requirements, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve how marketing supports sales and branch operations.
Marketing Operations & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records of campaigns and marketing activities to support reporting and performance tracking.
* Own assigned marketing data, reporting inputs, and administrative processes with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
* Continuously improve organization of shared folders, templates, and marketing resources to increase team efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 0-3 years of relevant marketing experience (internships or entry‑level roles welcome).
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Preferred
* Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
* Exposure to email marketing platforms or social media management tools.
* Experience supporting sales teams and internal stakeholders.
