Schneider Electric Digital Drid has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to take on the role of GIS Consultant in Spain.

The essential responsibility of this role is to ensure that our solutions are deployed and implemented in an efficient and consistent manner, minimizing cost and risk, while ensuring our projects meet the end-user business requirements.

Responsibilities


* Lead overall implementation and delivery of technical solutions.


* Lead and support project requirements-gathering workshops, and other client-facing activities.


* Work directly with other groups within the organization to develop and validate proposed solutions and designs.


* Support proposed client solutions based on defined requirements.


* Prepare documentation for design, functional, and interface specifications.


* Perform configuration, test planning, and test execution on one or more concurrent projects.


* Support of data modeling or data migration design.


* Cultivate strong client and colleague relationships and become a trusted advisor.

Requirements



* Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or electrical engineering (or related field with computer emphasis)



* 5+ years of related experience in GIS (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise preferred).


* Experience working with electric, gas, water, or telecom/fiber domains.


* Knowledge of system integrations (OMS, WMS, CIS, SCADA, DMS, AMI, or EAM preferred)


* Proven capability in documentation, testing & installation of technical solutions.


* Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL preferred.


* Be self-motivated, flexible, able to learn innovative technologies and processes, and have excellent problem-soling skills.
