Ultrasonographer
Ultrasound Technologist - 40 hours/week -
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team.
In this role, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic studies, support patients throughout their procedures, and ensure accurate, timely reporting for clinicians.
Hiring Range: $46.00/hour to $62.00/hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the procedure.
* Follow established clinical protocols to deliver consistent, high-quality imaging.
* Identify patient concerns, risks, and abnormal results promptly and communicate with providers.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including sonographer notes and exam details.
* Collaborate with radiologists, patient services, and clinic leadership to support smooth workflow and timely exam interpretation.
* Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and supply inventory.
* Uphold quality standards, including daily checks and routine equipment care.
Skills & Abilities
* Strong clinical competency and technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to support patients in high-stress situations.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Able to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in urgent or emergent situations.
Education & Experience
* Graduate of an ARDMS-accredited ultrasound program.
* ARDMS registration required, or registry-eligible with certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
* BLS (AHA) certification required.
* Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
* Experience in outpatient or hospital settings and familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.
Pay Range:
$44.09 - $66.15
