Position Overview
The Technical Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in supporting Bray’s growing HVAC business by providing engineering support and technical oversight for HVAC solutions and project applications.
This position serves as a key internal technical resource working closely with the outside sales team and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate product selection, technical validation, and smooth project execution.
The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate engineering requirements while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities – Engineering Support & Project Coordination
* Serve as the primary internal engineering resource supporting the outside HVAC sales team.
* Review project requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure appropriate product selection and application suitability.
* Track and follow up on project-related action items with Purchasing, Scheduling, Inside Sales, Engineering, and SSA/Project Coordination to ensure technical deliverables remain aligned with project timelines.
* Maintain clear communication between sales and internal teams to ensure technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables are aligned and executed effectively.
* Coordinate internal workflows to support timely proposal development, engineering review, and project execution.
Monitor deadlines, manage task ownership, and keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Technical Support
* Review and coordinate preparation of technical documentation including STEP files, submittals, product datasheets, and engineering documentation.
