Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Salary: $71,000 - $87,000 per year

Mesa Springs Healthcare Center is a modern, state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility and Independent Living community, located in the Far Southside neighborhood of Abilene.

We are along Buffalo Gap Rd, between Antilley Rd and Beltway S.

We feature 89 beds and beautiful spacious rooms in either private or semi-private settings.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning.

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Duties:


* Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, developing care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.


* Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.


* Provide rehabilitative treatment for patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, adhering to regulatory requirements.


* Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, adjusting treatments based on patient progress and outcomes.


* Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.

Qualifications/Experience:


* Occupational Therapy license is required.


* This position is open to OTs at all experience levels.


* Exhibits a sincere desire to help patients and residents in their rehabilitation process


* Exhibits knowledge and understanding of therapy practice
