Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in a strategic yet hands-on role? We are looking for a HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor for leaders and employees, driving people initiatives that support business success and a positive workplace culture.

About the Role:

As our HR Business Partner, you will combine strategic thinking with operational excellence.

You will work closely with leaders, the HR Manager, and the wider HR team to deliver high-quality HR services, support organisational development, and ensure compliance with Norwegian labour legislation.

Key Responsibilities:



* Act as the primary HR contact for leaders and employees within assigned business areas


* Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, and competency development


* Align HR policies, practices, and initiatives with business objectives


* Drive and participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives


* Monitor, analyse, and report on workforce metrics such as FTEs, personnel costs, absence trends, and actuals vs.

* Support leaders in taking corrective actions where discrepancies or risks are identified


* Contribute to HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making


* Provide coaching and sparring to leaders on change management, conflict resolution, employee development, and performance management


* Promote a healthy work environment and follow up on absence trends


* Foster strong employee relations and a positive workplace culture


* Build and maintain effective collaboration with union representatives


* Lead and support employee engagement initiatives to improve motivation, retention, and productivity


* Collaborate with business areas on performance pay processes, including KPIs, union dialogue, and result follow-up


* Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with relevant legislation


* Organize and facilitate training on HR policies, labor law, and workplace best practices

Qualifications


* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)


* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR role, ideally as an HR Business Partner or similar

Skills & Experience


* Strong knowledge of Norwegian labor laws and regulations


* Experience in leadership support and coaching is an advantage


* Analytical mindset with experience in HR metrics, budgeting, and reporting


* Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
