Intern, Employee Experience
Overview
We are seeking an Employee Experience Intern to support initiatives that enhance workplace culture and engagement.
This internship provides exposure to employee engagement strategies, internal branding initiatives, and social media campaigns.
The intern will assist in researching, planning, and implementing activities that improve the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as events, recognition programs, or wellness activities.
* Conduct research on employee experience best practices and workplace culture trends.
* Assist with creating presentations or reports on engagement insights
Learning Outcomes: By the end of the internship, the intern will:
* Gain exposure to employee engagement and workplace culture strategies.
* Understand how organizations design employee experience programs.
* Develop skills in HR research, communication, and program coordination.
* Contribute ideas that help improve the employee journey.
Education & Experience
* Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
Skills & Other Requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
* Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and time management.
* Additional Information
* Internship Duration: 4 weeks

Working Conditions
* This role will be based on-site in Santa Clara.
* Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.
Physical Requirements
* Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
* Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
* Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
EHS standards.
Quality & Environmental Responsibilities
Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
