Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is a key leader within the New Business & Client Conversion department, responsible for driving the successful implementation of new business and the end‑to‑end conversion of existing clients onto the Basys platform.

This role oversees large‑scale, complex, cross‑functional technology projects-including system implementations, client onboarding, platform migrations, and major operational and technical upgrades.

The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining a strong focus on client experience, operational readiness, data accuracy, and adoption of the Basys platform.

This role partners closely with IT, Operations, Product, Vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and long‑term success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


* Lead full life‑cycle project management for client implementations and conversions onto the Basys platform, including planning, execution, testing, training, and go‑live.

* Establish and communicate project expectations, roles, and responsibilities to cross‑functional team members and resource managers.


* Define and validate project scope with sponsors and stakeholders; implement effective scope controls and proactively manage change requests.


* Create and enforce project governance structures, ensuring consistent methodologies, documentation, approvals, and delivery practices across all projects.


* Serve as primary project leader for new client onboarding and existing client migration to Basys, ensuring smooth transition of eligibility, contributions, claims, pension, and ancillary functions.


* Partner with Business SMEs (implementation managers) to translate client requirements into Basys configuration, data mapping, workflow design, and testing strategies.


* Ensure readiness activities-including training, operational support model, data validation, and cutover planning-are completed and aligned to client expectations.


* Oversee internal and client‑facing communications to ensure transparency, clarity, and confidence throughout the implementation lifecycle.


* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop actionable mitigation plans; monitor risks and issues to full resolution.


* Produce clear, consistent, and executive‑ready project status updates, dashboards, and progress reports.


* Ensure quality of all project deliverables, including requirements, test plans, data files, and configuration outputs.
