Monitor Technician - Clinical Operations Center
This position functions in Clinical Logistics and is responsible for monitoring and facilitating patient care remotely through the use of technology and standard operating procedures.

* DAYS 7A-7P
* NIGHTS 7P-7A
Position Responsibilities
* Remotely monitors patients related to treatment, behavioral health concerns, arrhythmias and equipment settings.
Notifies bedside nurse of any changes and follows current escalation protocol
* Transports patients using wheelchair, stretcher or wagon within hospital and to and from vehicles
* Provides 1:1 observation for patients at risk of self-harm
* Performs routine EKGs.
* Utilizes the electronic medical record as required for patient care
* Ensures a clean and safe patient care environment
* Immediately reports any observed changes in condition or behavior of patients
* Demonstrates excellence in meeting the needs of customer service and operates in a professional, confidential manner
* Adheres to the Nemours Standards of Behavior
* Embraces other duties as assigned to support the Nemours vision/mission
Position Requirements
* American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS)
* High School Diploma required
* Decontamination (Hospital Emergency Response Team) training required within one year of hire.
* At least one of the following required upon hire:
+ CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician)
+ CET (Certified EKG Technician)
+ CCMTT (Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician)
+ A Telemetry or EKG Certificate from an accredited training program
* Minimum of one year of patient care experience preferred
