Part-Time Donation Services Associate - Evergreen Donation Center and Golden Store

Please Note:  Excellent customer service skills are a must! Please tell us about your availability.

For this position, we are looking for availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and one weekday (shift would be a day shift - approximately 8:30 to 5 pm ).

This position would primarily work at our Evergreen Donation Center but may be asked to work at our Golden Store.

Donation hours at our Donation Centers are 9 am to 5 pm daily.

Donation hours at our Stores are Monday through Saturday 8 to 8:30 and Sunday 9 to 7:30.

Pay: $16.65 Hr.

 Part-Time employees in our Retail and Sales/Operations Division are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate I, Donation Services is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off items at retail centers and/or stand-alone donation centers (ADC).

The Donation Services Associates will provide excellent and friendly customer service by greeting customers’ timely and helping as needed that may include lifting or unloading donations from a customer’s vehicle or other area.

Associates are expected to handle goods with care, showing respect for items donated.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Provides excellent customer service, greeting customers in a timely manner, answering product questions as needed.


* Assists every customer by unloading donations from vehicle or other areas.


* Ensure that donated items are handled with care and sorted into appropriate bins or production areas.


* Inspect all donations within assigned areas and make decisions on quality to sort appropriately for the sales floor or to be shipped to other locations.


* Ensures a safe, organized, and clean environment is maintained for both customers and fellow employees within the donations entrance and parking lot areas.


* Maintain remote donation centers, sheds, and/or trailer if applicable, following appropriate opening and closing procedures when working at a remote site. 


* Ensure supplies are kept well stocked at remote site as necessary.
