Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Part-Time
Location: Sierra Valley Rehab Center - Porterville, CA
Pay Range: $62.00-$65.00 per hour BOE

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a talented and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary care team.

This part-time position is a great opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities:


* Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders


* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team


* Provide direct therapy and caregiver/staff training as needed


* Maintain accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries


* Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff


* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards

Qualifications:


* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program


* Current and valid California SLP license


* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred


* Prior experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred


* Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills


* CPR certification
