Technologist | III V Semiconductor Technology | Process Development (InP & GaAs)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead definition and development of new and novel III-V process nodes for InP and GaAs technologies.
* Drive unit process development across epitaxy (MBE/MOCVD), lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, implant, and backend steps.
* Lead process technology transfers during development bringing to volume manufacturing.
* Partner closely with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Operations.
* Lead external collaborations with equipment suppliers, material vendors, and research partners.
Education & Experience
* Master's or PhD in a relevant discipline.
* Expertise in MOCVD/MBE epitaxy, III-V device fabrication, or photonics/RF process integration.
* Experience in tool evaluations, technology insertion, and supplier joint development programs.
Skills
* 10+ years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or technology development.
* Deep knowledge of III-V semiconductor processing-InP, GaAs, or related compound semiconductors.
* Proven record of improving throughput, stability, and yield in complex fab environments.
* Strong command of DOE, SPC, and data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab).
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical programs and vendor engagements.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Working Conditions
* Cleanroom Environment.
* Some travel needed.
* Contribute to breakthrough III-V semiconductor technologies.
* Influence long-term technology roadmaps and manufacturing capability.
* Work with advanced processes, tools, and cross-functional teams.
* High visibility and significant technical ownership.
Physical Requirements
* Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time up to 4 hours at a time.
* Must be able to adorn clean room attire and go into cleanroom if needed
* Must be able to with or without accommodation use office equipment
