* 2-year associate's degree in electronics


* Ability to troubleshoot problems to component level


* Knowledge of networks and cabling


* Knowledge of phone punch blocks and wiring


* Ability to learn new systems and work independently


* Must maintain a valid driver's license


* Effective communication skills


* Occasional heavy lifting required


* Ability to travel independently


* Computer Skills: Install and use computer software as needed, create Word and Excel documents.


* Rotate 24 hour on-call duty.


* Work some nights and weekends.

Desired


* Point of sale (POS) service experience


* Printer repair experience


* Mechanical aptitude



* Diagnose, repair and maintain electronic equipment including, but not limited to, point of sale, store PCs, printers (laser, dot matrix, and thermal), phone and intercom systems, scanners and scales, data communication cables, network hardware and cabling.


* Assist in organizing and maintaining spare parts inventory.


* Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
