As our Support Worker, you’ll be part of a team that provides young people aged 16-25 with the guidance, stability, and encouragement they need to overcome challenges and gain independence.

What you’ll do


* Supporting young people, aged 16-25, who may be facing homelessness, mental health challenges, exploitation or substance abuse, helping them to develop the skills to live independently.


* Encouraging and empowering young people to achieve their goals, whether it’s finding stable housing, securing employment or building confidence.


* Helping with day to day takes such as budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation.


* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.


* Cuppas, chats and catch ups.

Working alongside a supportive team you will take the time to build real connections with young people and guide them through life’s challenges.

You have


* A passion for supporting young people to grow, develop and succeed


* Experience in care, youth work, or a similar setting, or a personal understanding of the challenges young people face


* The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach


* A flexible understanding and personal approach to support, because every young person’s journey is unique
