Electroencephalographic Technologist - EEG Unit

The County of Riverside's Electroencephalographic Unit at Riverside University Health System's Medical Center seeks an Electroencephalographic Technologist to join our team in Moreno Valley.

The Electroencephalographic Technologist provides direct patient care by initiating and monitoring routine and urgent EEG studies.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, applying and troubleshooting electrodes, conducting and observing studies, documenting results in the electronic medical record, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

The role requires consistent communication with patients, families, nursing staff, and physicians while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The EEG unit desires candidates with Natus equipment, and EPIC experience.

However, training will be provided if candidates do not have prior experience.

Desired Qualification:

• Current registration as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT) with the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, covering on-call hours every third weekend

Training Schedule:
4 to 6 weeks - Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
