Your Impact & Responsibilities:



* Direct Patient Care: Execute and adapt occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising OTR and physician orders.


* Functional Goal Achievement: Deliver high-quality interventions to help patients improve their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and overall quality of life.


* Clinical Communication: Collaborate with the healthcare team to report patient progress, coordinate care, and facilitate successful discharge planning.


* Precise Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of daily treatments and progress notes, adhering to all state and regulatory requirements.


* Education & Training: Provide vital education to patients and families on therapeutic techniques and equipment usage; assist in training nursing and restorative staff.


* Facility Advocacy: Participate in department maintenance to ensure a safe, effective, and professional working environment.

Qualifications:



* Licensure: Current, valid California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.


* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively advocate for your patients.
