Customer Account Specialist

Job Description Summary

Provide accurate and timely customer account support in a manufacturing and regulated environment.

Responsible for order processing, shipping and inventory reporting, and customer communication to ensure accurate billing, shipments, and positive customer experience.

Job Responsibilities


* Enter, maintain, and update customer orders and data in the ERP system (JD Edwards/Oracle preferred).


* Review daily production, receipt, and shipment documentation for accuracy.


* Provide production, inventory, and shipment reporting to customers.


* Reconcile inventory discrepancies between internal systems and customer systems.


* Support end‑of‑month reporting and billing accuracy.


* Process customer shipping orders and verify inventory availability.


* Ensure DOT‑regulated Bills of Lading and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) accompany shipments.


* Communicate shipping instructions to internal teams and carriers.


* Respond to customer inquiries professionally and participate in routine customer calls.


* Maintain organized documentation per company and customer requirements.


* Serve as backup support for other Customer Account team members.

Required Qualifications


* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.


* Effective written and verbal communication skills.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).


* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.


* Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications


* Customer service or administrative experience.


* Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.


* Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards/Oracle.


* Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Starting at $22.00 per hour.

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
