Must have at experience operating a telescopic handler (preferrable operating a XR7038- F) in a mining environment to lift, move, and position heavy equipment, supplies, and materials, often in tight or high-reach areas; tasks include conducting daily safety inspections, maneuvering on uneven terrain, loading/unloading trucks, and collaborating with crews to ensure safe, efficient material handling; must be available for overtime; must pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check if project required.

Pay is $ 34.00/hr plus $600.00/weekly per diem for qualified candidates; work schedule 5 10's to 5 12's and anticipated project duration is approximately 3 years.

Job Summary

Safely operates a variety of heavy equipment, not limited to; backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, dump trucks, water trucks.

Will be responsible for preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk around of the assigned equipment to assure safe operation.

Inspect subordinates work, ensure accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications, explain deficiencies and take any necessary corrective action.

Minimum Job Requirements

Must have a minimum of three years (level I), four years (level II), five years (level III) and six plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the operation of various types of heavy construction equipment.
