Retail Operations Senior Manager of Expense ,and Sustainability

Position Summary:

Responsible for Development of Enterprise Strategy, initiatives and goals for Variable Expense Management, Sanitation and Sustainability of ecological resources.

Responsible for negotiation and management of Corporate Expense/Revenue Contracts.

Partner with Corporate, Division consumer Affairs and Mechandising Departments to further the company's stewardship of ecological resources and the effect on glidepath goals.

Responsible for defining and implementing best practices and initiatives for Variable Expense Management, Store Sanitation and Corporate Sustainability.

Responsible for evaluating and identifying New Variable Expense and Sustainability opportunities and to identify Expense Contract Consolidation opportunities.

Responsible for coaching and Development of direct reports to achieve and execute all goals and company strategies and Maintain a supply of qualified, promotable individuals.

* Store Management/Retail Operations Corporate/Division Management


* Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Degree


* Knowledge of Store Operations and/or Front-End Operations (Minimum one year experience).


* Store Retail Management Experience or comparable Experience


* Proficiency and ability to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Business Objects, Essbase, etc


* CrEative, alert to New ways of approaching tasks and Processes.


* Ability to be collaborative and work with and through various committees.


* Strong analytical skills


* Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking


* Strong oral defense skills


* Ability to travel independently



* Corporate Vendor Development and Relationship


* Oversee and Develop Programs to address Page 5 Variable Expense opportunities


* Utilize Enterprise Systems and Data sources to Develop reliable Division exception Reporting for Enterprise E/S/S initiatives.


* Actively seek out and evaluation of New opportunities/initiatives for Expense Reduction, Revenue, Sustainability


* Coordination of Corporate Sanitation and Sustainability Initiatives


* Communication and Implementation of Corporate Programs and Initiatives


* Supervise and coach direct reports in the Performance of their duties; complete Performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.


* Continue an aggressive personal Development Program to broaden the Knowledge base and skills necessary to accept grEater levels of responsibility.


* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
