Legal Counsel

Purpose of the Role

The Legal Counsel will provide day to day legal support to our business, with a primary focus on sales contracts across projects and channel activities.

Working under the supervision of senior legal colleagues, the role supports the operational needs of the business while contributing to risk management, claims oversight, compliance initiatives and the continuous improvement of legal processes and standards.

What will you do:



* Sales contracts, projects and channel support: Provide day to day legal support to sales teams in relation to project and channel contracts.

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, project, framework, distribution, reseller and confidentiality agreements.

Support the application of standard templates, playbooks and approval processes, identifying and escalating deviations from standard positions where required.

Assist senior legal colleagues on higher risk or more complex project contracts.


* Claims, disputes and litigation support: Support the oversight and management of claims, disputes and litigation arising from projects and sales activities.

Assist with the coordination of external counsel, including information gathering, document management and internal reporting.

Maintain claims and litigation trackers and support internal escalation and approval processes.


* Legal compliance and governance support: Support Group compliance initiatives at local and regional level, including policy implementation, awareness and monitoring activities.

Assist with compliance related queries, internal reviews and investigations under the supervision of senior legal or compliance colleagues.

Help ensure appropriate documentation and audit trails are maintained.


* General legal support: Act as a first point of contact for routine legal queries from the business, escalating more complex matters as appropriate.

Support senior legal colleagues across a range of operational legal matters as required.

What will make you successful:



* Bachelor's degree or Specialist degree in Law


* Qualified lawyer with initial post qualification experience, or a newly qualified lawyer with relevant commercial or in-house training experience


* Fluent in English and Italian


* Strong interest in commercial contracting, projects and sales support.


* Sound legal drafting and analytical skills, with attention to detail, performing under pressure.


* Pragmatic and solutions oriented, with developing commercial awareness.


* Ability to manage multiple matters in parallel and work effectively under supervision.


* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with non legal stakeholders.
