The Staff Pipeline Integrity Engineer is responsible for providing engineering expertise and technical support regarding the evaluation and failure analysis for in-service releases.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:


* Implement the company's written Integrity Management Program (IMP) as well as supporting standards, procedures, and practices for all pipeline assets.

Identify improvement opportunities and support improvement initiatives for the IMP and supporting documents.


* Evaluate new NDE and repair methods and technologies.

Determine value to organization and drive implementation where appropriate.


* Manage and provide technical expertise for the outside force program, which includes geohazards, seismic activity, and pipeline exposures


* Coordinate with metallurgical laboratories, review metallurgical report analyses, and recommend additional activities as necessary.


* Provide engineering support such as welding calculations, material selections, hydrostatic test plan design, MOP/MAOP and other pressure related calculations, defect evaluation, and appropriate repair recommendations for other Pipeline Integrity Engineers involved in Pipeline Integrity projects.


* Identify and develop new (and improve existing) preventive and mitigative measures through participation in Informational Analysis processes.

Identify and drive improvements to the Information Analysis process.


* Evaluate Integrity Assessment results to determine need for temporary pressure reductions and the need for repairs and repair method.
