We're looking for a dependable Cook who takes pride in food quality, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

What You'll Do

As a Cook, you'll play an important role in creating meals that support the health and happiness of our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:


* Preparing and cooking meals according to menus and dietary guidelines


* Ensuring food quality, presentation, taste, and proper texture


* Monitoring and recording food temperatures during cooking and holding


* Maintaining proper food storage, rotation, and labeling practices


* Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organized throughout your shift


* Working with the dining services team to ensure equipment is functioning properly


* Assisting with food preparation for special meals, events, and celebrations


* Helping receive and store food deliveries when needed

What We're Looking For


* At least 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare kitchen, or similar environment


* General kitchen or dietary experience may be considered


* Food handler permit or required state certification


* Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and dietary guidelines


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* A commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen

Education


* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Work Environment

This role is based in a healthcare dining environment, serving residents in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting.

You'll be part of a team dedicated to providing meals that support residents' comfort, health, and daily enjoyment.
