What are we looking for?
As a DevOps Engineer with Intertek Alchemy, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable AWS environments.

You'll partner with product owners, developers, and operations teams to automate workflows, improve CI/CD pipelines, strengthen monitoring and security practices, and support the overall software development lifecycle.

Intertek is not able to provide visa sponsorship or work authorization support for this position.

Responsibilities include:


* Designing, building, and maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for production and development environments.


* Implementing CI/CD pipelines that enable seamless, low-downtime deployments.


* Automating infrastructure builds using CloudFormation, CDK, and scripting in YAML, JSON, or Python.


* Enhancing system monitoring to detect and resolve performance issues proactively.


* Supporting developers with infrastructure needs across staging, development, and sandbox environments.


* Performing backup and recovery operations, while resolving complex AWS-related technical issues.


* Collaborating with management, product owners, and engineering teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.


* Documenting solutions and procedures to support knowledge-sharing across the team.

Required Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.


* 5+ years of technology experience with at least 2 years as a DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or SRE in a public cloud environment.


* Hands-on experience with AWS services (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Control Tower, etc.).


* Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools.


* Proficiency in scripting (YAML, JSON, Python).
