About the Role

Join our Alcoa team as the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, based at Pinjarra Refinery, where you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping equipment reliability, asset integrity, and long‑term maintenance strategy for one of the world’s leading alumina operations.

In this role, you will:



* Join a high‑achieving team focused on executing the plan.


* Provide functional leadership to the site maintenance organisation and direct leadership to the central and unplanned maintenance, powerhouse, reliability engineering and planning teams.


* Shape and implement refinery-wide maintenance and reliability improvement strategies.


* Drive improvements in equipment availability, cost effectiveness, and long-term asset integrity.


* Lead the development of innovative processes, technologies and maintenance methodologies that improve safety, production continuity and asset performance.


* Influence location business strategy, operating plans and budgetary processes.


* Serve as the site subject matter expert (SME) for reliability engineering and maintenance systems, maintaining compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

What you can bring to the role



* Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications (required).


* Proven ability to lead maintenance and reliability teams within large-scale industrial or processing environments.


* Proven ability to work in a multi-discipline team to deliver on location wide priorities.


* Strong capability in equipment management, asset integrity, maintenance planning and reliability improvement frameworks.


* Demonstrated success developing and implementing maintenance strategies that improve equipment uptime and reduce costs.


* Ability to navigate regulatory and compliance obligations (e.g., MSIR, dangerous goods, electrical, gas) and ensure safe work practices.
