Cluster Head - Retail & Project Sales

Experience: 4-7 Years

Job Location: Ernakulam Cluster- (handing - 3 Districts Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki)

Key Responsibilities

Channel & Team Management


* Network Expansion: Drive primary sales and develop the distribution network by appointing new distributors and dealers in high-potential, vacant territories.


* Performance Monitoring: Oversee daily operations and track secondary sales targets for Sales Executives.


* Capability Building: Mentor the team to enhance their sales skills, productivity, and market effectiveness.


* Process Discipline: Ensure the sales force adheres to defined reporting processes to maximize field efficiency.

Market Development & BTL Initiatives


* Demand Generation: Execute strategic marketing initiatives, including Electrician Meets, Dealer Meets, and Retailer Meets to expand market share.


* Influencer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Contractors, Builders, and Top Retailers to secure product specifications and project wins.


* Training & Trials: Conduct product application training and on-site trials for influencers and end-users to demonstrate brand superiority.

Strategic Analysis & Growth


* Business Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide actionable feedback for the product development and marketing teams.


* New Product Launches: Lead the regional roll-out of new products, ensuring effective end-user connect and rapid market penetration.


* Issue Resolution: Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team and retailers to resolve product quality or application concerns at the site level.


* Data-Driven Action: Utilize analytical skills to evaluate market data and implement corrective measures where necessary.

Candidate Profile


* Experience: Proven track record in channel sales, specifically within the Electrical/Single-Phase market.


* Expertise: Deep understanding of Secondary and Tertiary sales cycles, BTL activities, and user loyalty programs.


* Skills: Strong relationship management, problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.


* Core Competencies: Result-oriented with high interpersonal effectiveness and a disciplined approach to market development.

Education


* Required: Graduate degree.


* Preferred: MBA in Marketing or a related post-graduate specialization.
