Human Resources Supervisor - IHG Cairo CityStars Hotels

A little taste of your day-to-day:  
 

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:



* Support the implementation of HR programmes that promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment for all employees.


* Coordinate and administer the annual team member satisfaction survey and support the development of action plans with department leaders.


* Guide and support line managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance team performance and employee engagement.


* Lead and conduct new team member orientation programmes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.


* Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and employee records in compliance with company standards and local regulations.


* Support the recruitment process by ensuring hiring practices align with hotel standards, company policies, and employment laws.


* Build and maintain professional relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, training providers, and relevant authorities.


* Promote the hotel’s reputation and brand within the local community while encouraging employee participation in community initiatives and CSR activities.


* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and internal HR procedures.


* Conduct periodic HR compliance checks and support the annual HR standards self-audit.


* Handle employee relations matters by investigating workplace issues, identifying potential risks, and supporting fair and timely resolutions while escalating critical cases when required.


* Analyze HR metrics including exit interviews, turnover trends, and absenteeism reports to identify improvement opportunities and training needs.


* Support the HR Manager with HR projects, initiatives, and other operational duties as required.
What We need from you:


* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.


* 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior HR role.


* Solid knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, recruitment, and employment laws.


* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.


* Experience in employee engagement initiatives, and HR operations is highly desirable.


* Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.


* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


* Ability to create engaging HR content, including short videos and internal communication materials.


* Experience using design tools such as Canva to develop presentations, posters, and employee engagement materials is a plus.
